CISU: Empowerment Horizons: Online Psychological Rehabilitation for Ukrainians with Intellectual Disabilities (Djerela)

The Empowerment Horizons project provides accessible psychological support to Ukrainian individuals with intellectual disabilities affected by war. The program is designed to improve mental well-being, support caregivers, and foster community resilience in both Ukraine and Denmark. Core activities include the development of a user-friendly online platform offering tailored psychological rehabilitation content and training, led by experienced Danish staff and local partners. The initiative addresses challenges such as disrupted services, economic instability, and widespread trauma by offering flexible, culturally sensitive, and community-based support.
