United in Diversity Cafe

“United in Diversity Cafe” was a series of events that happened around Denmark during 2023, with the purpose to promote awareness about European Union citizenship, create a meet-up space for people with diverse backgrounds, and kickstart a potential anchor for the diversity in communities.

With this occasion, we wanted to encourage EU citizens living in Denmark to vote for the EP elections in 2024. There were 9 events around major cities in Denmark (Copenhagen, Aalborg, Odense, Aarhus, Vejle, Thisted, Skive, Billund, Esbjerg).

The Events included speeches by people with deep knowledge regarding the EU and speeches by candidates for the European Parliament. The participants had a chance for networking while participating in roundtable discussions and quiz games.

The events were organized together with Last Week in Denmark with the support from Europa-Naevnet.
